Speakmark

Terms of use

Last updated 20 October 2026

These terms apply to the Speakmark: Teleprompter app (“Speakmark”), developed by Anees Studio (“we”). By using Speakmark you agree to them. They sit alongside the terms of the store you got it from: on iPhone, Apple’s standard licence agreement; on Android, the Google Play terms. If they disagree about a purchase, the store’s terms win.

Using Speakmark

Speakmark is free to use, with Speakmark Pro as an optional extra. The free part has no ads and no watermark: up to 3 scripts of any length, the prompter with speed, text size, margins, left–right mirror, countdown and tap to pause, and recording takes of up to one minute. You may use it for your own purposes. Please don’t copy, reverse-engineer or resell the app.

Your scripts and videos

What you write and record is yours. It stays on your phone, so keeping it safe is up to you: back up your scripts from Settings, and save or share the videos you want to keep before you leave them. We can’t recover scripts or videos from a lost, reset or replaced phone. You are responsible for what you record and share, and for having the permission of anyone else who appears in your videos.

Changes and availability

We may change, add or remove features over time. If we change these terms, we’ll update the date at the top of this page; if the change is significant, we’ll say so in the app.

Liability

Speakmark is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from using the app, including a lost script or take. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can’t be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws that apply to the operator of Speakmark, without regard to conflict of law principles. Nothing in them limits rights you have under mandatory consumer protection law where you live. If a part of these terms can’t be enforced, the rest still applies.
